Shandur Pass and Chitral





Day 36...

the day long trip from Gilgit to Chitral passes by many beautiful green valleys and mountains

approaching the Shandur Pass (3810m)

Shandur Pass is one of the highest polo ground in the world, flanked by many mountain peaks of the Hindukush


the local kids love to gather around the bus whenever we stop


Day 37...

the frequent break during a long journey for the all important chai =p

  2. I visit Gilgit on jan 2010,its really a nice place,This place is where you can stay forever just staring at the imposing view it provides you of amazing mountains,
